What started as a feasibility study back in 1994 is now a reality! Despite various delays caused by the pandemic and even Hurricane Helene, the finished project has exceeded expectations. Today’s first launch was proof of its success!

💰 This $4.2 million project was a true collaboration among the Tennessee Forest Service, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, and the Tennessee Valley Authority. Remarkably, it was all accomplished without using local taxpayer funds.

Now, Johnson County proudly boasts its second public boat ramp!
